Cameron founded Inner Light Legion in 2015, spurred by his involvement in "Stop Stigma Sacramento," a county-funded program focused on suicide prevention and destigmatizing mental health issues. As a First-Responder, witnessing the devastating effects of suicide ignited Cameron's passion for public speaking and sharing his experiences. He began addressing both adult and youth groups, bravely sharing his own journey and challenging their perspectives, always leaving them with the empowering message: "You are not alone."

Through Inner Light Legion, Cameron advocates the crucial connection between mental health and maintaining a positive mindset. He recognizes the prevalence of negative thought patterns ingrained in society but believes in the transformative power of understanding that thoughts do not define us.

Beyond coaching and public speaking, and getting lost in nature, Cameron aims to support individuals in reshaping their mindset through accessible mediums like his blog, YouTube channel, and short form content. These platforms delve into Cameron's personal experiences and perspectives on mental health, with the aspiration of inspiring others to embrace their mental well-being to the fullest.

Looking ahead, Inner Light Legion's vision extends to establishing mindful youth centers and implementing peer-to-peer support programs for adults in high-stress occupations. The overarching mission remains clear: to foster a community where mental health is prioritized and support is readily available.
